Abstract
Background: Psoriasis involves inflammation, keratinocyte hyperproliferation, oxidative stress, and activation of NF-κB/STAT3 and Th17/IL-23/IL-17 pathways.
Aim: To evaluate and compare topical Alvocidib and Nocodazole at two doses, alone and in combination, with Clobetasol in IMQ-induced psoriasis.
Methodology: Eighty male Swiss albino mice will be divided into 10 groups, with clinical, biochemical, molecular, and histopathological assessments performed.
Expected Results: Alvocidib and Nocodazole are expected to reduce psoriasis severity, inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular proliferation, with potentially enhanced effects when combined.
Conclusion: Alvocidib and Nocodazole may provide novel therapeutic approaches through modulation of transcription, cell-cycle control, inflammatory signaling, apoptosis, and oxidative stress.
