 Update in Pharmacy Education and Research

Dear Colleague,

We are delighted to announce the 11th International Scientific Conference COPHARM2024 and invite you to participate in this meeting on April.16-17, 2024 Baghdad, Iraq.

COPHARM2024 covers the following thematic areas:

1. Pharmacology, Pharmacogenetics and Toxicology
2. Clinical and social Pharmacy
3. Clinical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Clinical immunology
4. Pharmaceutical Chemistry and drug design
5. Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry and Phytotherapy
6. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanotechnology and Biotechnology
7. Pharmacy Education
8. Artificial Intelligence based Drug Discovery and Development

Submission instructions for COPHARM2024:

• High-quality abstracts should include brief introduction, research problem, aims, methods, results, and conclusions.
• Abstracts should be submitted as Microsoft Word file (.doc)
• Abstracts should be between 300 to 500 words.
• Deadline for abstract submission: February 15, 2024
• The submission of abstracts should be through the conference website after registering in the Indico Link  https://events.uobaghdad.edu.iq/register
• Abstract could be either published recently (in 2023) or unpublished research.
• The authors should select one of the thematic areas of COPHARM2024.
• There will be two types of conference participations: Podium presentation (10-15 minutes) or poster presentation.
• Abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee to determine its quality, eligibility and the type of participation (podium or poster).
• Accepted submissions should have the conference logo on the first slide of the presentation and on the top of the hard copy of the poster.
• Presenters (submitted as live presentation) should email their slides as soft copy of the presentation ( PowerPoint format) to the Scientific Committee  before 10^th of April  via the following link Email Scientific Committee
• If the author willing to publish his/her work in COPHARM2024 special issue journals, a fulltext manuscript should be submitted before May 30, 2024(detailed deadlines and instructions for the fulltext submission and journal instructions will be announced later)
• Fulltext manuscripts intended for publication should be submitted directly to the Journal website and should follow the journal’s guidelines and requirements. However, the manuscript should pass an initial review by the scientific committee of the conference before submission to the journal.
• COPHARM2024 made agreement with two reputable journals and offer manuscript publication of the willing authors in special issue with relatively fast publication rate. The journals are: 
  • Special Issue in the Iraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJPS), SCOPUS - indexed Q3 citescore 1.3. Journal website:https://bijps.uobaghdad.edu.iq/ index.php / bijps
  • Special Issue in Journal(the name of the journal will be announced later), Clarivate Web of Science-indexed IF >5, SCOPUS-indexed Q1 citescore >6  .
