نظّم قسم توثيق بغداد في مركز إحياء التراث العلمي العربي بجامعة بغداد ورشة عمل بعنوان ( العادات والتقاليد البغدادية وتأثيرها على التماسك الاجتماعي ) في صباح يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ١٥ /٩/ ٢٠٢٦ في تمام الساعة العاشرة صباحاً وبحضور عدد من الباحثين والمهتمين بالتراث البغدادي. وشهدت الورشة تقديم المحاضرة عبر محورين رئيسيين حيث استهلت الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رشا عيسى فارس / رئيس قسم توثيق بغداد في المركز المحور الأول بتسليط الضوء على المقومات الأساسية للجيرة في المجتمع البغدادي خلال العصر العباسي مبيّنةً أنها تُعد من أبرز مظاهر الترابط والتكافل الاجتماعي وتتجسد في التواصل المستمر وتبادل الزيارات والمساعدة المتبادلة في مختلف المناسبات مما جعل الجار سنداً اجتماعياً وحقيقياً لأفراد الحي لا سيما في أوقات الشدائد والأزمات. وفي المحور الثاني واصلت المدرس المساعد هند عامر فاضل التدريسية في مركزنا تكملة المحاضرة مستعرضةً الأبعاد القيمية والتنظيمية للعلاقات البغدادية وأكدت على دور العادات والتقاليد الأصيلة في ترسيخ قيم الاحترام والتعاون وحسن الجوار وما ينعكس عنه من تعزيز للثقة والمودة بين أفراد المجتمع وتقوية الروابط الاجتماعية لترسيخ بيئة بغدادية أكثر تماسكاً واستقراراً وتكافلاً . وتأتي هذه الورشة ضمن سلسلة النشاطات العلمية والثقافية التي يحرص مركز إحياء التراث العلمي العربي على إقامتها دورياً لتوثيق التراث الحي للمدينة والدفاع عن قيم المجتمع الأصيلة.
The Baghdad Documentation Department at the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage (University of Baghdad) organized a workshop titled "Baghdadi Customs and Traditions and Their Impact on Social Cohesion" on the morning of Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The event was attended by a number of researchers and individuals interested in Baghdadi heritage. The workshop featured a presentation divided into two main themes. Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Issa Faris, Head of the Baghdad Documentation Department, opened the first theme by highlighting the fundamental elements of neighborly relations in Baghdadi society during the Abbasid era. She explained that these relations represented a key aspect of social solidarity and interconnectedness, manifested through constant communication, mutual visits, and assistance during various occasions—making the neighbor a genuine source of social support for residents, especially during times of hardship and crisis. In the second theme, Assistant Lecturer Hind Amer Fadel continued the presentation by examining the values and organizational aspects of Baghdadi social relations. She emphasized the role of authentic customs and traditions in instilling values such as respect, cooperation, and good neighborliness. She noted how these practices foster trust and affection among community members and strengthen social bonds, thereby creating a more cohesive, stable, and mutually supportive Baghdadi environment. This workshop is part of a series of scientific and cultural activities that the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage regularly organizes to document the city's living heritage and uphold the community's authentic values.
