تهدف الندوة الى تعريف الكوميديا من خلال تقديم المفاهيم المتنوعة لها بحسب كتاب الادب, اضافة الى تقديم الاهداف التي تدفع الكتاب الى اعتماد الكوميديا او الهزل او السخرية او روح المرح لايصال رسائلهم سواء النقدية منها او الممتعة. هذا و ان الندوة تستعرض ابرز الشخصيات الكوميدية في الادب.
