دورة تدريبية تنظمها كلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية
نظم قسم علوم التربة والموارد المائية كلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية، بالتعاون مع وحدة التعليم المستمر، دورة تدريبية علمية متخصصة بعنوان "وسائل مستدامة لتعزيز إنتاجية المياه تحت ظروف الشح المائي"، برعاية عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتورة أميرة محمد صالح، وإشراف رئيس قسم علوم التربة والموارد المائية الأستاذ الدكتورة شذى ماجد نفاوه، وحضور عدد من تدريسيي القسم.
وجاءت هذه الدورة تماشياً مع توجهات جامعة بغداد وكلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية نحو تبني التقانات الحديثة والذكية في القطاع الزراعي، بهدف دعم استدامة الإنتاج الزراعي والإدارة المستدامة للموارد المائية والأمن الغذائي، بما يتوافق مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة، لا سيما الهدف الثاني (القضاء على الجوع)، والهدف السادس (المياه النظيفة والنظافة الصحية)، والهدف الثالث عشر (العمل المناخي).
وهدفت الدورة إلى تعزيز كفاءة استخدام مياه الري من خلال عرض وسائل وتقنيات مستدامة، ونشر الوعي بأهمية الإدارة المتكاملة للمياه والتربة تحت ظروف الشح المائي. وتضمنت محاضرتين قيمتين، قدمتهما الأستاذ الدكتورة آلاء صالح عاتي والمدرس الدكتورة هديل عامر جبار، تناولتا دور تقنيات الري الحديثة، وإدارة التربة، وتطبيق المصاطب الزراعية في تقليل الفاقد المائي وزيادة إنتاجية المياه لدعم الزراعة المستدامة.
وشهدت الدورة مشاركة نخبة من تدريسيي القسم، الذين قدموا محاضرات علمية متقدمة عكست خبراتهم الأكاديمية والبحثية، وأسهمت في فتح آفاق معرفية جديدة أمام المشاركين، بما يعزز التكامل بين البحث العلمي والتطبيق العملي.
وخرجت الدورة بمجموعة من التوصيات، أبرزها اعتماد الأساليب المستدامة في إدارة مياه الري، ودعم البحث العلمي والتدريب المستمر، وتعزيز التعاون المؤسسي في مجال إدارة الموارد المائية.
A Training Course Organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences
The Department of Soil Science and Water Resources at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a specialized scientific training course entitled “Sustainable Means to Enhance Water Productivity under Water Scarcity Conditions.” The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Soil Science and Water Resources, Prof. Dr. Shatha Majid Nafawa, with the attendance of a number of the department’s academic staff members.
This course was conducted in line with the directions of the University of Baghdad and the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences towards adopting modern and smart technologies in the agricultural sector. It aimed to support sustainable agricultural production, sustainable management of water resources, and food security, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, and Goal 13: Climate Action.
The course aimed to enhance the efficiency of irrigation water use by presenting sustainable methods and technologies, as well as raising awareness of the importance of integrated water and soil management under water scarcity conditions. The course included two valuable lectures delivered by Prof. Dr. Alaa Saleh Ati and Lecturer Dr. Hadeel Amer Jabbar. The lectures addressed the role of modern irrigation technologies, soil management, and the application of agricultural terraces in reducing water losses and increasing water productivity to support sustainable agriculture.
The course witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of the department’s academic staff members, who delivered advanced scientific lectures reflecting their academic and research expertise. These lectures contributed to opening new knowledge horizons for the participants and strengthening the integration between scientific research and practical application.
The course concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably the adoption of sustainable approaches in irrigation water management, support for scientific research and continuous training, and the enhancement of institutional cooperation in the field of water resources management.
