Abstract:
This research investigates the multidimensional impact of social media platforms on students' academic performance and learning engagement. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study collects and evaluates empirical data from student demographics to determine the correlation between time allocation on social networking sites and educational achievement levels. The findings demonstrate that excessive, unmonitored social media usage negatively affects cognitive focus, task-switching efficiency, and overall academic outcomes, highlighting the urgent need for digital literacy initiatives, time-management frameworks, and structured educational technology integration.
