يشهد العالم المعاصر تناميًا واضحًا في مظاهر التطرف وخطاب الكراهية، وهو ما يشكل تهديدًا مباشرًا للأمن المجتمعي والتعايش السلمي بين الأفراد والجماعات. فالتطرف لا يقتصر على العنف المادي فحسب، بل يمتد ليشمل التطرف الفكري واللغوي الذي يُغذّي الانقسام، ويقوّض قيم التسامح وقبول الآخر.
تُعدّ لغة الكراهية من أبرز أدوات التحريض التي تُستخدم لنشر التعصب والعنف، خاصة في ظل التطور التقني ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي التي أتاحت انتشارها بسرعة وتأثير واسع.
من هنا تأتي أهمية هذا النشاط في تعزيز الوعي بخطورة التطرف وخطاب الكراهية، وتحليل أسبابهما وآثارهما، والسعي إلى إيجاد سبل عملية لمواجهتهما عبر التربية والإعلام والحوار البنّاء، وصولًا إلى ترسيخ ثقافة التسامح والمواطنة الإيجابية في المجتمع
The contemporary world is witnessing a clear increase in extremism and hate speech, posing a direct threat to societal security and peaceful coexistence among individuals and groups. Extremism is not limited to physical violence; it also includes intellectual and linguistic extremism, which fuels division and undermines the values of tolerance and acceptance of others.
Hate speech is one of the most prominent tools used to spread intolerance and violence, especially in light of technological advancements and social media, which have enabled its rapid spread and widespread impact.
Hence, the importance of this activity in raising awareness of the dangers of extremism and hate speech, analyzing their causes and effects, and seeking practical ways to confront them through education, media, and constructive dialogue, with the ultimate goal of establishing a culture of tolerance and positive citizenship in society.
