مستوى انتشار التنمر الالكتروني تبعاً لمتغير النوع الاجتماعي لصالح الذكور, ووفق الاشكال مثل الاستهزاء والتهديد والاهانة والاقصاء وانتهاك الخصوصية ومن ثم التحرش الجنسي, ان هذه الظاهرة وتفشيها وقد يكون مرده توفر وسائل الاتصال عبر الانترنت وسهولة التعامل مع تطبيقات التواصل الاجتماعي مما يشجع الافراد في التعبير عن مشاعرهم الداخلية ( السلبية والايجابية )
The prevalence of cyberbullying according to the gender variable is in favor of males, and according to forms such as mockery, threats, insults, exclusion, violation of privacy, and then sexual harassment. This phenomenon and its spread may be due to the availability of means of communication via the Internet and the ease of dealing with social networking applications, which encourages individuals to express their internal feelings (negative and positive).
