الشذوذ الجنسي هو مصطلح يُستخدم للإشارة إلى الانجذاب أو الميول الجنسية التي تتعارض مع ما يُعتبر "طبيعيًا" أو "تقليديًا" في معظم الثقافات والمجتمعات. عادةً ما يُستخدم هذا المصطلح لوصف الميول الجنسية التي تتجاوز العلاقة بين الرجل والمرأة كما هو مُتعارف عليه في بعض الأديان والمجتمعات. ومن الأمثلة التي تُستخدم ضمن هذا السياق هي العلاقات المثلية (التي تشمل التوجه الجنسي نحو نفس الجنس) أو غيرها من التوجهات الجنسية التي تعتبر خارج نطاق العادات التقليدية.
تختلف النظرة إلى الشذوذ الجنسي بحسب الثقافة، الديانة، والمجتمع. ففي بعض البلدان والمجتمعات يُعتبر الشذوذ الجنسي غير مقبول اجتماعيًا أو قانونيًا، بينما في بلدان أخرى يُعترف به ويُحترم كحق فردي. في العقود الأخيرة، شهد العالم تغيرات كبيرة في كيفية التعامل مع هذه القضية، حيث تبنت بعض الدول قوانين تضمن حقوق الأفراد ذوي التوجهات الجنسية المختلفة.
من المهم الإشارة إلى أن العلم الحديث، وخاصة في مجالات علم النفس وعلم الأحياء، يعترف بأن التوجهات الجنسية، بما في ذلك الشذوذ الجنسي، جزء طبيعي من التنوع البشري ولا ينبغي الحكم عليها كـ "شذوذ" بالمعنى السلبي الذي كان يُستخدم في الماضي.
