دورة تدريبية عن طرائق مسح وتصنيف الترب تنظمها كلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية
نظم قسم علوم التربة والموارد المائية بالتعاون مع وحدة التعليم المستمر دورة تدريبية علمية متخصصة بعنوان "طرائق مسح وتصنيف الترب"، برعاية عميد كلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية الأستاذ الدكتورة أميرة محمد صالح، وإشراف رئيس القسم الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أحمد عبد الوهاب عبد الرضا، وحضور عدد من تدريسيي القسم.
وهدفت الدورة إلى تسليط الضوء على الأسس العلمية لمسح وتصنيف الترب، وطرائق أخذ عينات التربة للأغراض الحقلية والمختبرية، وجمع عينات التربة والمياه والنباتات الملوثة وحفظها ونقلها، وطرق عزل وتنمية أحياء التربة المجهرية والدراسات العلمية المهمة للمسوحات البيئية والزراعية.
وتضمنت محاضرات قيمة قدمتها كل من الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة حليمة عبد الجبار عبد الرحمن، والمدرس الدكتورة عواطف حميد دعدوش، والمدرس المساعد أفراح كاظم سلمان، والمدرس المساعد وجدان طالب كاظم.
وخرجت الدورة بمجموعة من التوصيات، أبرزها اعتماد الطرائق الصحيحة في جمع عينات التربة والمياه والنباتات الملوثة وغير الملوثة، مع الاهتمام الدقيق بطريقة الحفظ والنقل لتجنب تلف العينات، وتفعيل المعرفة الخاصة بعزل وتنمية أحياء التربة المجهرية في الدراسات المتعلقة بخصوبة التربة والمشاريع الزراعية المستدامة.
وجاءت هذه الدورة تحقيقاً لأهداف التنمية المستدامة، لا سيما الهدف الرابع (التعليم الجيد).
A Training Course on Soil Survey and Classification Methods Organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences
The Department of Soil Science and Water Resources, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a specialized scientific training course entitled “Soil Survey and Classification Methods.” The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Abdul Redha, with the attendance of a number of the department’s academic staff members.
The course aimed to highlight the scientific foundations of soil survey and classification, methods of soil sampling for field and laboratory purposes, the collection, preservation, and transportation of contaminated soil, water, and plant samples, as well as methods for isolating and cultivating soil microorganisms and their importance in environmental and agricultural surveys.
The course included valuable lectures delivered by Assistant Prof. Dr. Halima Abdul Jabbar Abdul Rahman, Lecturer Dr. Awatif Hameed Daadoush, Assistant Lecturer Afrah Kazem Salman, and Assistant Lecturer Wijdan Talib Kazem.
The course concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably the adoption of proper methods for collecting contaminated and uncontaminated soil, water, and plant samples, with careful attention to preservation and transportation procedures to avoid sample damage. It also emphasized activating knowledge related to the isolation and cultivation of soil microorganisms in studies concerning soil fertility and sustainable agricultural projects.
This course was conducted in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education.
