A thesis submitted by researcher Zahraa Mohammed Ali, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Jamal Baqir Mutlaq.
This thesis aims to identify the level and type of deprivation suffered by families and the contributing factors, with the goal of alleviating their suffering from the effects of this phenomenon. This will be achieved by understanding and clarifying the theoretical foundations and basic concepts of deprivation and its indicators across its seven dimensions (education, skills, work, health, housing, living environment, and facilities and household appliances), which are closely linked to human development. The thesis also identifies indicators of housing deprivation through the dimensions of housing and living environment.
