تهدف الى تقديم ابرز المفاهيم العامة لعملية الترجمة بوصفها علم يتطلب الإلمام باللغتين المترجم منها والمترجم لها وكذلك على أهمية الإلمام بكافة قواعد اللغة التي يراد الترجمة منها وإليها، وذلك لكي يكون المترجم قادرا على صياغة النص بطريقة صحيحة وسليمة خالية من الأخطاء، فضلاً عن إمتلاك المترجم للثقافة الكافية في مجال النص المراد ترجمته.

It aims to introduce the most important general concepts of translation as a science that requires proficiency in both the source and target languages. It also emphasizes the importance of mastering all the rules of the source and target languages to ensure the translator can produce accurate and error-free text, and possesses sufficient knowledge in the subject area of the text being translated.
