We are a life sciences department that aspires to excellence in research at all levels of biological organization—from molecules and cells to organisms and ecosystems. We leverage our diverse backgrounds and expertise to educate and mentor undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows through immersive research experiences in the laboratory. Our goal is to help today’s trainees become tomorrow’s leaders in research, health and medicine, education, and government.
