Water scarcity, climate change, population growth, and aging infrastructure have significantly increased the challenges facing water resources management in Iraq. To address these issues, modern smart water monitoring and management systems have emerged as powerful tools for improving water efficiency, reducing losses, and supporting sustainable decision-making. This workshop aims to introduce participants to the latest advancements in smart water technologies and their applications in the management of surface water, groundwater, irrigation networks, and urban water supply systems.
