 ا ومنها الأسوار والأبواب والمعابد التي ع
 كست تطور العمارة والتحصينات والطقوس الد
 ينية لدى الختيين إلى جانب ما كشفت عنه الت
 نقيبات الأثرية من معالم تؤكد أهمية المدي
 نة بوصفها نموذجاً بارزاً للحضارة الأناض
 ولية القديمة . On Tuesday morning\, May 19\, 2026\, at 11:00 A
 M\, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the Universi
 ty of Baghdad organized a scientific seminar entitled "Khatusha: Capital o
 f the Hittites and Cradle of Anatolian Civilization: A Study in Civilizati
 onal Development." The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Naila O
 mar Shihab\, a faculty member at our center. She discussed the importance 
 of the city of Khatusha as one of the most prominent cultural centers in a
 ncient Anatolia and its influential role in the history of the ancient Nea
 r East. The researcher highlighted the city's strategic geographical locat
 ion\, which contributed to its political\, economic\, and religious prospe
 rity\, as well as its connection to a network of important trade routes li
 nking Anatolia with Mesopotamia and the Levant\, thus enhancing its cultur
 al standing throughout the ages. The research also reviewed the most promi
 nent cultural achievements of the city of Khatusha\, including the walls\,
  gates and temples that reflected the development of architecture\, fortif
 ications and religious rituals among the Khitians\, in addition to what th
 e archaeological excavations revealed of landmarks that confirm the import
 ance of the city as a prominent model of ancient Anatolian civilization.
