التطرف والتجنيد الإلكتروني هما وجهان لعملة واحدة تستخدمها الجماعات المتطرفة عبر الإنترنت، حيث تُستغل وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والمنصات الرقمية لنشر الأيديولوجيات المتطرفة، واستقطاب الأفراد (خاصة الشباب الذين يعانون من ظروف صعبة) وتجنيدهم، وتدريبهم، وحتى تسهيل التخطيط لعمليات إرهابية باستخدام أدوات متطورة مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي لتزييف المحتوى وتقديم تجارب تدريب افتراضية غامرة. يتطلب التصدي لذلك جهوداً متعددة تشمل التوعية الرقمية، حملات مضادة، تطوير قوانين جديدة، وتعزيز محو الأمية الرقمية لتعزيز المناعة ضد هذه الأفكار
Online extremism and recruitment are two sides of the same coin, exploited by extremist groups online. Social media and digital platforms are used to spread extremist ideologies, attract and recruit individuals (especially vulnerable youth), train them, and even facilitate the planning of terrorist operations using sophisticated tools like artificial intelligence to manipulate content and provide immersive virtual training experiences. Countering this requires multifaceted efforts, including digital awareness campaigns, counter-campaigns, the development of new legislation, and the promotion of digital literacy to build resilience against these ideas.
