على وقع ارتفاع معدلات الجرائم الإلكترونية في العراق، وأبرزها (الابتزاز)، يكاد لا يمر يوم إلا وتعلن الجهات الأمنية عن اعتقال متورطين في مثل هذه الجرائم.
لذا مالمقصود ب
الابتزاز الالكتروني ؟
إكراه شخص على القيام بشيء أو الامتناع عن فعله عبر التهديد بكشف معلومات محرجة أو ضارة، أو استخدام القوة، أو التهديد بإلحاق الأذى المادي أو المعنوي به أو بأي شخص عزيز عليه. الهدف هو الحصول على مكاسب غير مشروعة، مثل المال، أو الأشياء الثمينة، أو إجبار الضحية على القيام بأعمال غير قانونية أو غير أخلاقية.

So, what is meant by electronic extortion?
Coercing a person to do or refrain from doing something by threatening to reveal embarrassing or damaging information, using force, or threatening to cause physical or moral harm to the victim or to a loved one. The goal is to obtain illicit gains, such as money or valuables, or to force the victim to engage in illegal or immoral acts."
