هدفت الرسالة إلى التعرف على مدى تأثير استخدام تطبيق تيك توك على الأداء الدراسي لطلبة المرحلة الإعدادية المنتهية، من خلال دراسة ميدانية لعينة مكونة من “٤٠٤”طالب وطالبة في محافظة كركوك ، وتوصل الباحث إلى أن دوافع استخدام الطلبة للتطبيق تركزت على الترفيه والتسلية، مع تأثيرات متفاوتة على مستواهم العلمي.
وقد أظهرت النتائج أن التطبيق يشغل الطلبة أحيانًا عن أداء واجباتهم الدراسية، لكنه لا يُعدّ سببًا رئيسيًا في تراجع مستواهم الأكاديمي بحسب وجهة نظر معظم العينة،كما أوصى الباحث بإنتاج محتوى تربوي هادف، وإدخال مادة التربية الإعلامية في المناهج، ودعم البحوث الأكاديمية في هذا المجال.
The study aimed to identify the impact of TikTok's use on the academic performance of middle school students, through a field study of a sample of 404 male and female students in Kirkuk Governorate. The researcher concluded that students' motivations for using the app focused on entertainment and amusement, with varying effects on their academic performance.
The results showed that the app sometimes distracts students from their homework, but it is not considered a primary cause of their academic decline, according to the majority of the sample. The researcher also recommended producing purposeful educational content, incorporating media literacy into curricula, and supporting academic research in this field.
