الرياضيات هي علم دراسة الأعداد، والكميات، والأنماط، والعلاقات بين الكيانات المجردة. تُستخدم الرياضيات لوصف وفهم الظواهر الطبيعية والفيزيائية، وهي أساس العلوم والتقنية.
لهندسة هي فرع من الرياضيات يهتم بدراسة الأشكال، والحجوم، والمساحات، والزوايا، وخصائص الفضاء. ظهرت الهندسة في الأصل لتلبية حاجات عملية مثل قياس الأراضي والبناء، لكنها تطورت لتشمل مفاهيم نظرية متقدمة.

Geometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with the study of shapes, volumes, areas, angles, and spatial properties. Geometry originally emerged to meet practical needs such as land measurement and construction, but it has evolved to include advanced theoretical concepts.
