هدفت الورشة الى تعريف الطلبة بالدور الحيوي الذي تلعبه المرأة في تعزيز المشاركة السياسية، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على تمثيلها في الانتخابات التشريعية. كما ناقشت الورشة تحليل التحديات التي تواجهها المرأة في هذا المجال، والفرص المتاحة لها، وكيف يمكن لزيادة مشاركتها أن تؤثر إيجاباً على المجتمع ككل. كما تناولت الاستراتيجيات التي يمكن تبنيها لضمان تمثيل عادل ومتوازن للمرأة في الهيئات التشريعية.
The Role of Women in Promoting Political Participation: Their Representation in Legislative Elections The workshop aimed to introduce students to the vital role women play in promoting political participation, with a particular focus on their representation in legislative elections. The workshop also discussed an analysis of the challenges women face in this area, the opportunities available to them, and how increasing their participation can positively impact society as a whole. It also addressed strategies that can be adopted to ensure fair and balanced representation of women in legislative bodies
