هدف البحث ، إلى التعرف على صفات الرموز الاجتماعية ونوعها في المسلسلات التلفزيونية ، وكذلك تحديد مدى مساهمة صورة الرموز في تعديل او تغير سلوكيات الجمهور وتغير او تعديل مواقفهم نحو قضايا معينة.
وتوصل الباحث إلى نتائج عدة وفق الدراسة التحليلية اهمها ، التركيز الكبير في المسلسلات الدرامية العراقية على المشكلات الاسرية والاجتماعية عبر الموضوعات التي تطرحها لا سيما ما يتعلق بالتفكك الأسري.
The research aimed to identify the characteristics and types of social symbols in television series, as well as to determine the extent to which the image of these symbols contributes to modifying or changing audience behavior and changing or modifying their attitudes toward certain issues.
The researcher reached several conclusions based on the analytical study, the most important of which is the strong focus in Iraqi drama series on family and social issues through the topics they present, particularly those related to family disintegration.
