Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) can negatively impact embryo quality due to hormonal imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, and altered ovarian microenvironment affecting oocyte maturation. This lecture examines how PCOS-related factors like insulin resistance and hyperandrogenism compromise embryo development and implantation success in fertility treatments.
