The thesis aimed to identify the digital technologies involved in urban conservation and to verify the presence and use of these technologies in conservation areas in Baghdad. The student concluded that digital technologies used in urban conservation are employed in documentation, protection, and tourism. She further concluded that digital technologies represent important tools for digitizing and documenting architectural and urban heritage, enabling the creation of a database that serves as the foundation for heritage protection and tourism, in addition to developing heritage facades through images and 3D models used in augmented and virtual reality.
