Laboratory personnel is at risk of biological contamination leading to laboratory-acquired infections(LAIs). The use of disinfection products is essential in the prevention of these infections. This workshop aimed to illustrate the effectiveness of each disinfection methods used for decontamination in microbiology laboratories. Hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of hands are prerequisites for hygiene management in hospitals in order to minimize the risk of healthcare.
