Description
Regular use of denture cleaning keeps denture prostheses clean, aesthetically pleasing, and odor-free, which is important to patient health. Chemical-soaked denture cleaners are used to clean and maintain dentures, but they can damage plastic or metal components over time. The study examined the effects of tea tree oil denture cleanser on heat-cured acrylic on candida albicans adhesion and surface roughness. Moreover, its effect on surface hardness, surface roughness, UV-absorption, water sorption, and solubility properties after interrupted immersion for 90 and 180 times, simulating six months and one year, respectively.
