إطروحة دكتوراه عن محصول اللهانة تناقشها علوم الهندسة الزراعية

شهدت كلية علوم الهندسة الزراعية جامعة بغداد مناقشة إطروحة الدكتوراه الموسومة( تأثير الري بالمياه المحمضة في جاهزية الفسفور والحديد والزنك في تربة كلسية وإنتاجية اللهانة )، للطالب فراس وعد الله احمد من قسم علوم التربة والموارد المائية . 

هدفت الدراسة الى بيان تأثير الري بالمياه المحمضة وإضافة مستويات من الفسفور والحديد والزنك الى التربة في جاهزية الفسفور والحديد والزنك وفي إنتاجية اللهانة ومحتواها من المغذيات فضلاً عن دراسة تأثير التحميض للمياه في كفاءة إستعمال الأسمدة . 

أوصى الباحث بإستعمال حامض الكبريتيك التجاري مع مياه الري الى التربة في الترب الكلسية لخفض درجة تفاعل التربة وزيادة جاهزية المغذيات فضلاً عن بدراسة محسنات تربة أخرى تسهم في إدارة الترب الكلسية .

A PhD dissertation was discussed about cabbage crop at college of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad. A dissertation was discussed that titled “Effect of Acidic Water Irrigation on Phosphorus, Iron, and Zinc at the Calcareous Soil and the Cabbage Productivity” for student Firas Waad Allah Ahmed at the soil sciences and water resources Dept. the objectives of this study depict effect of acidic irrigated water and the phosphorus, iron, and zinc that applied into the soil on phosphorus, iron, and zinc availability and cabbage productivity. Additionally, study the impact of the acidic water on fertilizers use efficiency  . The researcher suggested that using industrial sulfuric acid with irrigated water could decrease soil pH and increase the nutrients availability as well as studying other soil amendments could contribute in calcareous soils management.
