Until now, titanium has been used as an implant material since it has several suitable properties, but it still needs some modifications to its surface, and this is done through several techniques like coating to improve osseointegration between the implant surface and the surrounding bone tissue. Electrospinning is a promising technique for fabricating coating scaffolds due to its ability to generate thin and uniform fibers. The aim of this study was to study the synergistic effect of collagen and ascorbic acid as coating materials on commercial pure titanium implants by using the electrospinning technique.
