ORAL MANIFESTATIONS AND MICROBIOLOGICAL FINDINGS IN COVID-19 SUBJECTS (VACCINATED & NON-VACCINATED)
Since 2002, three major coronavirus epidemics have occurred, including Severe acute distress syndrome-Coronaviruses (SARS-CoV), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS-CoV), and the most recent 2019-nCoV or Severe acute distress syndrome-Coronaviruses-2 (SARS-CoV-2). The SARS-CoV-2 virus has caused a global public health risk and has the potential to trigger a widespread pandemic in susceptible human populations. As of October 8, 2020, the global incidence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has surpassed 36.5 million cases and a mortality rate exceeding one million individuals.
