Serum And Salivary Ferritin and B12 Level In Relation To Iron Deficiency Anemia Patients With Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis
Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is one of the most widespread disorders affecting the oral mucosa, with a 50–66% prevalence. The effect of common hematinic deficiencies, such as ferritin and vitamin B12, on the development and progression of RAS, is unknown. Several studies have demonstrated that persons with RAS have a high prevalence of hematinic deficiencies
